Short Stack Eatery Book Drive

We are partnering with our friends at Short Stack Eatery for their Book Drive in support of the Madison Reading Project! Purchase a book to donate for the book drive, mention the drive (or use the coupon code SSEMRP on a web order--we will take care of delivering the books for you if you order online!).

For the drive, please donate books in good condition for children aged 0-12. The drive begins on Wednesday Feb 21 and goes through Sunday, March 4th. You can drop books off at Short Stack Eatery or at A Room of One's Own.

Stop by the bookstore on your way to brunch--we're just a block down from Short Stack Eatery, which is on the corner of Johnson & State St.

You can use the coupon code SSEMRP on almost any book you would like to donate to the drive. If for some slim reason, the book isn't available for us to get in time for the drive, we will substitute in a similar book from the Madison Reading Project's wish list.

They are especially looking for books for children written by and featuring People of Color, books in Spanish, and books that celebrate other forms of diversity.
