WisCon 46: Opening Reception

A Room of One's Own will be participating in WisCon! WisCon is a 1,000-member science fiction convention with a feminist/social justice focus. Every year WisCon celebrates, dissects, and transforms speculative literature, television, film, comics, and games. WisCon specifically aims to foster conversations about feminism(s), gender, race, disability, and class.

The kickoff event for every WisCon is a Thursday night reception and Guest of Honor reading sponsored by Madison’s feminist bookstore, A Room of One’s Own. This event is free and open to the public--all other WisCon events will require a WisCon membership. See the WisCon website to register.
