A Room of One's Own is thrilled to welcome three new and provocative voices in feminist and queer writing, performance, and activism!
Megan Milks is the author of Kill Marguerite and Other Stories and the chapbook Twins, which enlists the Sweet Valley Twins in a choose your own adventure. Her fiction has been published in three volumes of innovative writing as well as many journals. She is co-editor of the volume Asexualities: Feminist and Queer Perspectives and editor of The &NOW Awards 3: The Best Innovative Writing, 2011-2013. She teaches creative writing, journalism, and literature at Beloit College.
Cassandra Troyan is an activist, performer, and author of BLACKEN ME, BLACKEN ME, GROWLED, THRONE OF BLOOD and most recently HATRED OF WOMEN and KILL MANUAL. She has curated the reading and performance series ARTIFICIAL EAR (formally EAR EATER) since 2010 in Chicago, IL where she currently lives and works. She can be found at onemurderleadstoanother.com
Anna Vitale is a writer from Detroit living in Madison, WI. She has written about hip-hop, childhood, desire, psychoanalysis, and suicide in chapbooks like Breaststa, Anna Vitale's Pop Poems, and Unknown Pleasures.
